ePartnersMD integrated solution automatically creates necessary financial transactions in Microsoft Dynamics, saving time and ensuring accuracy by eliminating manual data entry.

Patient Transactions

Microsoft Dynamics automatically receives patient transaction
information from QuadraMed Affinity and posts to the appropriate department and revenue account including charges, payments, contractual allowances, NSF checks, bad debts and other adjustments.

Business Process Reconciliation

The ePartnersMD/QuadraMed integrated solution provides reconciliation routines to reconcile inventory, accounts payable trial balances, and account receivables trial balances between Affinity and Microsoft Dynamics.

Refund Checks

Affinity users are able to respond to all account inquiries from patients including requests to replace refund checks with ease. Most hospitals process large numbers of refund checks to patients for small amounts. Additionally, the recipient may also be a one time “vendor” for the hospital. This phenomenon is managed in Microsoft Dynamics with a temporary vendor feature. The check is created with minimal information: recipient’s name, address, patient account number and amount. When the check is processed, Microsoft Dynamics sends information to Affinity, updating the patient’s records, including

  • Payment information, including the check number and date
  • Month that the check clears the bank
  • Date that the check is voided and proceeds sent to the State as unclaimed property

Microsoft Dynamics GP Human Resources and Payroll provides the advanced features to meet the unique needs of the healthcare industry. Microsoft Dynamics GP automates complex calculations including varying pay rates for employees, shift differentials, and blended overtime rates.
